No matter what we think of the leadership of UNISON they still have a way to go before reaching the level of some American unions. In order to address the concessions the Governor has imposed I would be willing to agree to the following:

• “x” number of temporary layoff days

• accept a 0% wage increase

• take a permanent pay cut

• take a pay cut for this contract period only with a return to current wage levels at the end of the contract.

• None of the above, I would rather have the state invoke permanent layoffs to address the budget shortfall.
