You may have read our previous articles on the need for trans liberation and on the ruling out of motions proposed for ADC. These motions explicitly propose the National Union take the necessary steps in practical solidarity, and stand with trans members in the face of anti-trans policies and practises.
But, what do we mean when we say trans liberation?
Come along to this session to hear more about why we campaign for liberation and not simply “trans rights”, and to discuss how we can organise in our union to defend trans members and why that fights matters to all of us.
Join the discussion next Friday (10/04/26), 12:30 – 13:30, via the zoom link below:

The PCS Independent Left think that it’s important that members come together to discuss the challenges our union faces and recognise the importance of rank and file organising. That’s why we host monthly online meetings that are open to all to discuss how we can transform our union and meet those challenges.
If you’re interested in building a rank and file democracy that seeks to empower members, then consider joining the Independent Left in our campaign to transform the union.
