We Want a Strong National Contract – The current LU leadership has abandoned any attempt to win national terms and conditions; it certainly does not run any campaigns to win these terms. We in contrast want a strong single legally binding Agreement between the government and the Union for all civil servants to ensure the same good working conditions, pay and pensions. No more differing terms and conditions depending our where you work. In the civil service we have one employer so we should have one set of terms of employment.
