PCS HP Group’s North West Branch Secretary, John Pearson has now been on suspension by the company for 6 weeks, charged with breach of company confidentiality for sending out lists of redundancy selection pools to branch members.
The Group FTO sent a demand to the company for John’s unconditional reinstatement, on 7th June ( http://www.pcs-hpnw.org.uk/reinstatement.html ). HP rejected the demand by return, saying that they are conducting an investigation which may lead to disciplinary action.The BEC has set up an e-petition to the UK Managing Director of HP. The site has reach in America, which is important when dealing with HP.
